A closer look at Lodge Nine

Welcome to Lodge Nine, your ultimate self-catering holiday accommodation in Devon. As you enter the lodge through the outside porch, you will step into a large hall equipped with a coat hanger, shoe rack, and mirror. On the right-hand side of the hall, there is a twin bedroom with a wardrobe and bedside unit. Opposite the downstairs bedroom is a large shower room with a toilet. Moving further along the hall, you will enter the lounge/kitchen/dining room with high-quality flooring and plenty of natural light.

Double glass doors lead you to the decking area, furnished with a wooden patio table, six chairs, and a 6-seater hot tub – the ultimate relaxation spot for our guests. The hot tub is conveniently located in the corner of the decking, shielded by a privacy screen, and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding woodland.

he modern and beautifully furnished lounge area is warm and cosy, featuring a leather electric recliner corner sofa, a coffee table, and a large Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and free wireless broadband. The kitchen is fully equipped to a high standard, including an integrated dishwasher, microwave, slow cooker, coffee maker, kettle, stainless steel cooker extractor, four-burner gas hob with an oven, and a fridge freezer. The dining area boasts a large wooden table and six leather chairs.

Upstairs, you will find two luxurious bedrooms. The master bedroom features a double bed with a memory foam mattress topper, a vanity unit, a wardrobe, a smart TV, and two stylish bedside units. The second bedroom has two superbly comfortable single beds, a vanity unit, a wardrobe, a bedside unit, a PlayStation, and a large TV. Fresh bed linen is supplied for your stay, allowing you to have the most relaxing sleep during your time away.

The main upstairs bathroom is equipped with a large bath with a showerhead, a washbasin, a toilet, and a chrome towel rail. Fresh luxury hand and bath towels are provided for all guests upon arrival.

The Location of the Lodge

The lodge is located within Haulfryn’s Finlake Resort & Spa, across 130 acres of beautiful Devonshire countryside. It is right on the doorstep of Dartmoor National Park and only a short drive from the seaside (English Riviera). The on-site leisure complex offers a heated indoor and outdoor pool with water flumes, an adventure playground, a luxury spa, and a fitness centre. Various on-site group activities for all ages are available for booking at the resort and the tennis and basketball courts. The two on-site coarse fishing lakes are full of bream, roach, dace, large crucian carp and perch. The on-site café and the Retreat (Bar & Restaurant) serve lovely breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. In the evenings you can also enjoy a game of pool or occasional guest singers.
